Our Purpose
Mission & Values
Our Mission: We exist to connect people to God and His Church through the unchanging hope of Jesus. We gather to worship, grow in community, and serve our city so more people can experience life in Christ.
How We Live (Our Values):
Integrity — We do the right thing, even when unseen.
Love in Action — Generosity and compassion in motion.
God’s Word — Scripture guides what we believe and how we live.
Mission-Minded — Every step points to the mission.
Teamwork — We’re better together.
Joy — We take Jesus seriously, not ourselves.
Diversity — All people, every background.
Adaptability — We meet people where they are.

OUR STORY
HOW WE BEGAN
We started with a simple conviction: hope changes everything. From a handful of friends to a growing church family, we’ve seen God move—one changed life at a time. Today we gather weekly in White Marsh and scatter to serve our city.
BELIEFS
What We Believe
Jesus is the center. Scripture is our foundation. People matter to God.
The Church is a family on mission. Hope is our message; love is our posture.
God’s Word to all people—inspired, true, and relevant for daily life.
Key Scriptures: Deut 4:1–2; Ps 119; Isa 40:8; Jn 5:39; 17:17; 2 Tim 3:15–17; Heb 4:12; 1 Pet 1:25; 2 Pet 3:16.
One God in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power and authority, working in perfect unity.
Key Scriptures: Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19; Jn 14:10,16; Rom 8:9–11; 2 Cor 13:14; Heb 1:8–10.
God is great (all-powerful, all-knowing, unchanging) and good (loving, compassionate, faithful)—worthy of our trust and worship.
Key Scriptures: Ex 3:14; Mal 3:6; Jn 3:16; Acts 17:28; Rom 3:3–4.
Fully God and fully man, Jesus lived sinless, died as our substitute, and rose again—the only way back to God.
Key Scriptures: Isa 7:14; Matt 1:18–23; Jn 1:1,14; 11:25–27; Rom 3:23–26; Phil 2:5–11; Col 2:9; 1 Tim 2:5–6.
He assures, guides, convicts, comforts, gifts, and shapes believers to be more like Christ while exalting Jesus.
Key Scriptures: Joel 2:28–32; Jn 15:26; 16:7–14; Acts 1:8; Rom 8:9–16,26–27; 1 Cor 3:16; Eph 1:13–14.
People will exist forever—either separated from God (Hell) or in union with God (Heaven) through forgiveness and salvation.
Key Scriptures: Jn 3:16,36; Rom 6:23; 1 Jn 5:11–13; Rev 20:15.
Made in God’s image yet separated by sin; we can’t restore ourselves. Every person has dignity and is worthy of love and respect.
Key Scriptures: Gen 1:26–30; Ps 8:3–6; Rom 3:10–23; Eph 2; Col 1:21–22.
Only through Jesus’ blood and resurrection. Salvation is a gift received by faith—not earned by works.

Leadership
OUR PASTOR
Pastor Brandon majored in Religious Studies at Hampton University. He loves the study and practicality of God’s word, and is often described as having wisdom beyond his years. He brings experience from both the ecumenical and industrial spheres, having 14 years of ministry experience and over 10 years of management experience in corporate America.
Brandon and Mya met back in 2005, and after a 2 year courtship they we were married in August of 2007. Brandon lovingly describes Mya as his best friend and partner. Mya brings many years of management experience from the non-profit sector with everything from after-school programs to life enrichment programs. Mya shares the vision and work of ministry along with Brandon.
They are blessed to be the proud parents of 3 wonderful children: Noelle, Brandon Jr., and Ethan. It is their belief that their first calling is to love one another, and to keep God first in their family. The Davis family prays together, read God’s word together, and they do life together in the community that we know as church. Brandon and Mya teach their children that Jesus is the most important person in our lives and it’s all about His glory in all things. Pastor B often says that his assignment to his family is the greatest assignment he has on this earth.
